• Laptop/PC aquisition

  I buy in bulk from university/institutiuons that turn over their inventory periodically. Very seldom, if ever, do I take trade ins or deal with inividual devices. If an owner doesn't think a machine is worth being repaired, chances are it's not in good shape.
  The colleges, especially, sell off many machines that aren't too old and are still in very nice condition. ...let's start with something we can expect to get at least a few years of use out of!

• 1 Year Warranty

  Real peace of mind. I've been doing this 30 years, and I'm not going anywhere. That warranty covers all the hardware -- including the batteries and chargers. You'll never find anyone who says I don't keep my word or warranty.

• Care and Quality

  I don't grab machines and flip them the next day. I'm constantly buying fresh batteries, chargers and faster hard drives. It takes days to clean, test and load each machine (while I'm doing other things, naturally.) I take care by loading the best drivers and software, hardening the operating system and loading quality, legal software that is useful but unintrtusive. My systems HUM when I get them ready. They are ALWAYS faster than a new machine of similar hardware.

• Ready to To Go

  Unlike a store-bought, Windows is all up-to-date. So are all the applications and drivers. I suggest slapping on your own password, for security, but that's all you have left to do. And if you have files and pictures from an old machine -- bring them by when you come over. I'll transfer them for you for free. A much more pleasant transition to a new device!
